Pete Fisch Named Executive of the Year

He was instrumental in securing the Big South Conference baseball championship and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference championship for Truist Point.

Fisch began his career in sports with the Albany Patroons basketball team in 1982 while still in high school. Upon graduating from college, he became the assistant general manager of the Carolina Mudcats in 1989 before moving to the same role with the Hickory Crawdads from 1992-94. He served for nine years as the vice president and general manager of the Winston-Salem Warthogs and 11 years as the associate tournament director for the Greater Hickory Kia Classic at Rock Barn, a PGA Champions Tour event. He became the president of the Rockers in March 2020 and guided the club through the Covid-19 pandemic while managing the operation of Truist Point.
