BOOMERS FRONT OFFICE RECOGNIZED WITH AWARDS

The Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, have started the offseason with multiple awards and nominations including winning the Frontier League’s Clint Brown Excellence in Marketing Award as well as the Schaumburg Business Association’s Rookie of the Year Award for GM Michael Larson. In addition, the Boomers were nominated for the Schaumburg Business Association’s Brian H. Burke Business of the Year Award. The Schaumburg Boomers are proud and honored to be named the Frontier League’s first ever “Clint Brown Excellence in Marketing Award” for their creative marketing and promotional materials in 2018. The award was named for the late Florence Freedom owner who was appointed Vice President of Marketing on the Frontier League’s Board of Directors in 2010. “Clint’s background in marketing and marketing research lead to the development of this award,” Frontier League Commissioner Bill Lee says. “He truly loved the Frontier League and wanted to make it better in every way he could help. He will be missed.” The Boomers received the award at the annual Frontier League Meetings.
