The Trois-Rivières Aigles have acquired infielder Chris Claire (Experience-2) and pitcher Justin Ferrell (Experience-2), both previously drafted by Major League Baseball teams. Chris Claire, from Fort Mill, South Carolina, spent time at the AA and AAA levels for the Baltimore Orioles in 2019. That season he recorded 30 hits, including six doubles, and drove in 11 runs while scoring 20 over 155 plate appearances. A 21st round draft pick by Baltimore out of High Point University in 2016, Clare was named First Team All-Big South Conference in college and was a mid-season All-Star for the South Atlantic League’s Delmarva Shorebirds in 2017. “Chris brings the playing experience at the AA and AAA levels, with the ability to play multiple infield positions.
