With the Leagues transaction date right around the corner, The New Hampshire Wild have announced they will be signing young former big leaguer RHP Jorge De Leon. De Leon, 28, signed in November 22, 2012 as a Free Agent with the Houston Astros. On October 17, 2013 he was granted Free Agency. On October 29, 2013 he signed as a Free Agent with the Houston Astros. and On October 9, 2014, he was selected off waivers by the Oakland Athletics from the Houston Astros. December 17, 2014 he was released by the Oakland Athletics and signed on December 30, 2014 as a Free Agent with the Chicago Cubs. On April 8, 2015, De Leon was released by the Chicago Cubs but picked up on April 9, 2015 as a Free Agent with the Los Angeles Dodgers and was released on August 13, 2015 but was later picked up as a Free Agent with the Miami Marlins. De Leon has had much success in the Major Leagues including a 3 pitch inning versus the Cincinnati Reds.
