The Goldeyes would reclaim the lead again in the top of the fourth on an RBI single by Raphael Pelletier, followed by a sacrifice fly by Noah Marcelo that made the score 5-2 in favor of Winnipeg.
Jaxx Groshans cut the lead to two with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. Ethan Wilder went on to tie the game at five with an RBI single that scored Jacob and Derek Maiben. The back-and-forth affair would continue after Max Murphy delivered an RBI single to give the Goldeyes the lead once more.
Derek Maiben tied the game at six in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI single that brought home Daniel Harris. The Dogs would go on to take a 7-6 lead after Gio DiGiacomo was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
