The United Shore Professional Baseball League will host its first-ever Career Day on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Jimmy John’s Field. Career Day will provide students the opportunity to hear from a panel of professionals within the USPBL powered by UWM Organization. Programming will take place on the field while students watch from the grandstands.
This fun and educational field trip caters to students in middle school and high school. The special presentation will cover the importance of continuing education, the value of internships and real world experience and the different job opportunities available in a Front Office. Presentations from the USPBL Front Office Staff include the following departments: Baseball Operations, Marketing, Sales & Service, Corporate Partnerships, Ballpark Operations, and the office of the President.
Cost for the event is $15 per student. This includes entrance to the USPBL Career Day followed by a baseball game between the Utica Unicorns and the Westside Woolly Mammoths.
Schedule:
9:30 a.m. – Gates Open
10 a.m. – Program Starts
11 a.m. – USPBL Baseball Game First Pitch
