STEVE DELABAR LANDS IN GOOD SPOT

STEVE DELABAR LANDS IN GOOD SPOT
Steve Delabar‘s signing with Cincinnati only days after Toronto released him would seem to be the right spot for the 32-year-old reliever even though he will be starting the season with Triple-A Louisville. With the Reds essentially rebuilding and all of his major league experience, he should be very much on the parent team’s radar, and it does not hurt that his roots are in Kentucky.

The onetime Can-Am hurler appeared in eight spring training games for Toronto, putting up a solid 2.35 ERA over 7 2/3 innings. Louisville opens the season at Toledo on Thursday.
