FRANSOSO'S HIT SENDS ROCKLAND TO CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

Rockland 3B Mike Fransoso (pictured) singled home two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Boulders a dramatic 3-2 walk-off victory over Quebec in game five of the first-round series. The win by Rockland advanced them to the Can-Am League Championship Series where they will take on Ottawa. Boulders RF Mike Montville went 2-for-3 with a run scored while SS Junior Arrojo added a solo home run.Game one of the championship series will be tomorrow night at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park in Ottawa starting at 7:05 PM.
