Independent Baseball Chatter – by Bob Wirz Trois-Rivieres has been a fairly quiet franchise during its first six seasons in the Can-Am League with the exception of three years ago when the Aigles made their only postseason appearance and shocked everyone else by going on a run after finishing fourth in the regular season to the championship, beating both Rockland and New Jersey in five-game series. The spotlight may land on the Aigles more now that they have their first major league player and he is with the powerful New York Yankees. The honor belongs to 6-foot-6 southpaw Ryan Bollinger, who was  a starter for Trois-Rivieres part of 2014 and all of the next two seasons before he moved on to German and Australian teams one year ago. Bollinger has drawn attention all season long since the Yankees signed him, starting with five innings of one-run work for the Triple-A farm club in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre followed by 5.2 no-hit innings for Double-A Trenton.  In all, the 27-year-old native of Apple Valley, Calif., compiled a 3-1 record and a 1.86 earned run average in five starts combined between the two teams. “I got a contract offer, and here I am,” he told…
