The Capitales wrapped up the top seed in the Can-Am League playoffs with a 4-2 win over the Jackals in the nightcap of their twinbill at Stade Canac. Quebec finishes the 2017 regular season with a record 65-35, and will meet the Sussex County Miners in the first round of the playoffs. The Rockland Boulders have earned the no. 2 seed and will meet the no. 3 seed New Jersey Jackals. In Monday’s game two, Quebec was locked in a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the fifth, when DH Balbino Fuenmayor (pictured) stepped up with the bases loaded. He hit a two-RBI single, putting Quebec ahead for good.
