Wichita 7, Chicago 6- Box Score The Wichita Wingnuts used a seven-run third inning to defeat the Chicago Dogs by a score of 7-6 on Monday. In the top of the third, Hunter Clanin (1 RBI), Zach Nehrir (2), Tony Thomas (2), Logan Trowbridge (1), and Nick Rotola (1) all batted in runs for the Wingnuts in the third to give them a 7-2 lead. In the next frame, Joe Benson, who homered earlier, hit an RBI double to bring the game to 7-4. Chicago scored one in the fourth and Stephen Perez hit a solo home run (1) in the seventh to bring the game to its final score. Wichita’s starter Jordan Cooper (7-5) allowed five runs in six innings to earn the win. Daniel Tillman pitched a scoreless ninth to earn the save (19). Fargo-Moorhead 9, St. Paul 7- Box Score The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (38-28) topped the St. Paul Saints (37-30) by a score of 9-7 on Monday. Tim Colwell (2-for-3) led the RedHawks with a triple and three RBIs. Maikol Gonzalez hit the only home run for Fargo-Moorhead, a solo home run (5).
