Wichita 4, Kansas City 3 — Box Score With a three-run home run from 3B Martin Medina, the Wichita Wingnuts walked off on the Kansas City T-Bones 4-3. The Wingnuts were held scoreless through the first eight innings and were trailing 3-0 heading into the bottom of the final frame. DH Brent Clevlen and CF T.J. Mittelstaedt led off with back-to-back singles and after a fly out from 1B Matt Chavez, LF Brennan Salgado singled home Clevlen. In the next at-bat, Medina cleared the bases with his second home run of the season. The T-Bones built their 3-0 lead thanks to RBI from 1B Kevin Keyes and RF Chantz Mack, who each had two hits in the game. Keyes hit two home runs for Kansas City to give him a league-leading nine on the year. 2B Zach Walters went 3-for-4. Fargo-Moorhead 5, Lincoln 4 — Box Score The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks scored five runs in a two-inning span and that proved to be enough as they edged the Lincoln Saltdogs 5-4.
