August 6 Evening Recap Sioux Falls 11, Texas 7 – Box The Sioux Falls Canaries scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to erase a 7-6 deficit and beat the Texas AirHogs by the score of 11-7. Sioux Falls pounded out 15 hits in the contest with five players having multi-hit games. Canaries DH Burt Reynolds went a perfect 5-for-5 at the dish with a home run, three runs scored and a RBI while leadoff hitter Dan Motl added a pair of hits, including a triple, and four RBI. Sioux Falls RF Jabari Henry also contributed a two-run home run, his 18th of the season. Canaries reliever Nicco Blank recorded the final two outs in the eighth inning off a double play and notched his second victory. For Texas in the losing effort, RF Denis Phipps went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI. St. Paul 7, Fargo-Moorhead 2 – Box St. Paul tallied six runs over the first four innings of the contest and rolled to a 7-2 win over Fargo-Moorhead.
