COLLIER BECOMES SECOND T-BONE TO WIN WEEKLY AWARD

MOORHEAD, MN- The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has announced that Kansas City T-Bones’ RHO Tommy Collier has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending July 22. Collier pitched the first 8.2 innings of an 11-inning 1-0 shutout against the Texas AirHogs on July 21. In the start, the Texan walked none, gave up just two hits and struck out eight. Collier began his professional career in 2011 after being drafted in the 22nd round by the Detroit tigers. The Righty spent six seasons in the Tigers’ system, reaching double-A in three different seasons while compiling a record of 41-37 with a 3.88 ERA. 2018 is Collier’s first season in independent baseball. He now joins INF Zach Walters as T-Bones who have won a weekly award in 2018, Pointstreak provides technology driven sports management and business solutions designed to streamline operations while facilitating and enhancing the sport participant, fan and media experience.
