St. Paul 5, Sioux City 1 – Box Score St. Paul finished off the three-game sweep of Sioux City as they downed the Explorers by the score of 5-1. With the victory, the Saints are all tied up with Winnipeg for first place in the North Division. After three scoreless innings to start off the contest, St. Paul struck first in the fourth as CF/RF Max Murphy launched a three-run home run to make it 3-0. The Saints would add a pair of runs in the sixth as LF Blake Schmit singled home Murphy and 1B Devon Rodriguez came around to score on a hit by C Jeremy Martinez. Sioux City’s only run of the game came in the eighth off an RBI single by 1B Dean Green. Murphy went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBIs while 3B Chesny Young had a pair of hits in three at-bats…
