Sioux Falls 1, Wichita 0 – Box After losing the first two games of the three-game series, the Canaries got revenge on Sunday, topping the Wingnuts 1-0. The lone run of the game was scored in the fifth inning when RF Burt Reynolds hit a solo home run. The blast was his eighth of the season and he picked up his 31st RBI on the play. RHP Miles Nordgren was excellent in the win, throwing eight shutout innings while holding the Wingnuts to just seven hits. Nordgren (3-3) also struck out five batters. RHP Jose Ortega earned the three-out save for his tenth save of the year. Kansas City 13, Winnipeg 2 – Box The T-Bones made easy work of the Goldeyes on Sunday, avoiding the series sweep by winning 13-2. Before the Goldeyes knew what had hit them the T-Bones scored four runs in the second inning. CF Chantz Mack hit a three-run home run in the inning to put the T-Bones up 4-0.
