UTICA, Mich. – Andrew Huffman pitched 8.0 innings, striking out five, allowing one hit and no runs to lead the Utica Unicorns (16-23) to a 4-1 victory over the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers (18-21) on Wednesday night at Jimmy John’s Field on Friday night.
Donovyn Curiel went 2-for-4 with one run scored and two RBIs. Nick Pasotre and Patrick Baggett drove in the other runs for the Unicorns.
Rudy Ramirez, Ray Hilbrich and JD Stubbs had the only hits for the Beavers.
