UTICA, Mich. – Derrick Edington pitched 7.0 scoreless innings, allowing only three hits and striking out six as Eastside Diamond Hoppers(10-16) defeated the Utica Unicorns (18-7), 4-2, on Thirsty Thursday at Jimmy John’s Field
Sean Lawlor led offensively for the Hoppers, going 2-ofr-3 with two RBIs. Alex Pup finished the night with two hits and one run scored.
The Unicorns attempted a comeback in the top of the 9th. Noah Childress hit his forth home run of the season, bringing in two runs.
