The list of independent professional baseball teams which will play their regular seasons in 2026 has been updated. Changes since the previous update include adjustments to the clubs for the Mid-America League (hybrid league), Pecos League and the Pioneer League.

Some of the updates include:
- Meridian in the Mid-America League now has named the team the Meridian Blues
- The Pecos League has brought back the Monterey Amberjacks and removed the Iola Hormigas
- The Pioneer League named the Long Beach team as the Long Beach Coast
- The Pioneer League named the Modesto team as the Modesto Roadsters
- The Pioneer League’s travel team is now under a partnership with RedPocket Mobile with the team being called the RedPocket Mobiles
