Episode 5 follows the team through the lowest stretch of our 96-game season played entirely on the road (including a game that ended on an overturned automated strike-zone challenge) and into the breakout that changed everything: a 506-foot home run from player-coach Jordan Harrison Dudley, a 24-run, 29-hit offensive stretch, and Justin Johnson homering in six straight games on his way to Pioneer League Hitter of the Week.
Dudley is also a 27-year-old schoolteacher who never expected to be handed a coaching job as a hitting coach who preaches what he teaches, in the clubhouse and the classroom. You’ll also meet infielder Gianni Horvat, whose homemade music has quickly turned our clubhouse into the most entertaining in the league.
