The Mid-America League is the “hybrid” league consisting of mostly summer collegiate (summer college wood bat) players and some players with previous professional experience. For now, it is being included under “independent” due to it being a “professional development league”.
The Joplin Outlaws repeated as Mid-America League champions. The Outlaws defeated the hosting Abilene Flying Bison by a final score of 10-6 in the championship tournament final game this past Sunday.
