UTICA, Mich. – A six-run second inning proved to be the difference as the Eastside Diamond Hoppers (6-5) defeated the Utica Unicorns (6-5), 8-3, on Saturday afternoon at Jimmy John’s Field.
The Hoppers sent 11 men to the plate in the second inning, capitalizing on timely hits and free passes. Jayson Willers’ two-run double and Andrew Bergeron’s RBI single highlighted the rally.
