JOLIET, IL —The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy kick-off a six game home stand against Frontier League rivals the Windy City ThunderBolts and the Schaumburg Boomers beginning on Friday, June 23. Rotary Night will be held on Friday, June 23.  In conjunction with nine area Rotary clubs, the Slammers are helping fundraise for the causes Rotary supports. The night is dedicated to enhancing communities and improving lives across the globe. A silent auction open to all fans in attendance will take place on the concourse and the Friday night game will feature post-game fireworks. The Joliet Slammers have partnered with the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation to raise money for pediatric cancer awareness on Saturday, June 24.  Fans can use the promo code “RIZZO” at jolietslammers.com/tickets or call the Box Office at 815-722-2287 to have $5 of their tickets be donated directly to the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation.  If the Joliet Slammers raise $50,000, General Manager Heather Mills has promised to shave her head. Following the game, the Slammers will host their annual Boy Scout Sleepover. Sunday’s afternoon game beginning at 1:05pm is a Slammers Family Sunday.
