SAUGET, Ill. – On Tuesday, April 25, the 2017 Frontier League Draft kicked off with Austin Goss (RHP) taken as the overall #1 pick by the Schaumburg Boomers. When asked about the pick, Boomers Manager Jamie Bennett said, “We are very excited to bring Austin to camp with us. He showed the talent and has the background to translate to a guy that can compete for a spot in our pitching staff.” Austin heads the 26 member 2017 Draft class, 13 of which were pitchers.
