JUNE 12 EVENING RECAP Photo Courtesy: Trois-Rivieres Aigles Trois-Rivieres 13, Salina 2 – Box Score Trois-Rivieres scored seven big runs in the first inning to take a 7-0 lead and cruised from there to a 13-2 victory over the Salina Stockade. The Aigles tallied 12 hits in the contest with nine batters collecting at least one. Trois-Rivieres LF Javier Herrera (pictured) went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI while CF Alexi Colon collected three hits, scored a run and drove in one. In all, four hitters for the Aigles plated at least two runs in the game. Starter Chris Murphy threw six shutout innings and picked up the victory for Trois-Rivieres. Murphy allowed six hits while striking out six in 74 pitches thrown. The resident of Newark, DE is now 3-1 on the year and has allowed only five walks in 30 1/3 innings pitched. For Salina, leadoff hitter Brian Luebcke scored a run in a 2-for-4 night. Ottawa 8, Quebec 3 – Box Score Ottawa won their third consecutive contest as they downed Quebec by the score of 8-3.
