The Champions walked off on the Shikoku Island All-Stars with a pair of runs in the bottom of the 12th, taking a 4-3 win. With runners at the corners and no outs, 2B Albert Cartwright hit an RBI single to tie the game. After an out, CF Sebastien Boucher (pictured) stepped up and collected another RBI single to win the contest. Ottawa had previously scored in the first and sixth innings, as 1B Kenny Bryant hit an RBI single in the first and Cartwright drove in a run in the sixth.Elsewhere, Trois-Rivieres rolled past Quebec 10-1, Cuba beat New Jersey 9-4 in a rain-shortened game, and Rockland and Sussex County were suspended in the third inning with Rockland up 6-0.
