The first-place Rockland Boulders scored five runs in the first inning on their way to a 6-2 win against the New Jersey Jackals. In the first, DH Marcus Nidiffer and RF Mike Montville hit back-to-back RBI base hits and LF Aaron Wilson (pictured) cleared the bases with a three-RBI double to kick start the game. SS Mike Fransoso added a sac fly in the third but that would be all the Boulders needed on the day. New Jersey scored both of their runs in the bottom off the third inning when 1B Brian Burgamy hit a two-RBI double.
