MIROWSKI NAMED PITCHER OF THE WEEK

DURHAM, NC- The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has announced that Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks RHP Richie Mirowski (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending May 22nd. Mirowski provided the RedHawks with an excellent performance on the mound in Fargo-Moorhead’s 2-1 win over the Laredo Lemurs. The Oklahoma Baptist University product threw seven strong innings and struck out 11 hitters while just surrendering one earned run on five hits. A native of Redwood, CA, Mirowski spent 2015 with the Amarillo Thunderheads. The right hander went 4-2 with a 3.57 earned run average just a year ago striking out 55 hitters over 45.1 innings. The RedHawks will travel to Texas today to battle the AirHogs in game one of a three game series. First pitch from Airhog Stadium is set for 7:05 PM.
