Fargo-Moorhead 5, Winnipeg 2 – 10 Innings — Box Score The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks edged the Winnipeg Goldeyes 5-2 in 10 innings thanks to a three-run home run from 1B Dustin Geiger. The score was tied at 2-2 after nine innings of play and needed an extra frame to decide a winner. The RedHawks held an early lead after scoring a run each in the fourth and fifth innings but the Goldeyes rallied to tie things up with a run in the sixth and another in the eighth. Geiger’s three-run blast in the top of the 10th proved the be the difference maker. Geiger finished the game 3-for-5 ad LF Brian Humphries added three hits in five at bats. Both DH K.D. Kang and SS Mike Gilmartin added RBI. For the Goldeyes, 1B David Rohm went 2-for-5 with an RBI and CF Reggie Abercrombie hit his 17th home run of the season.
