Sioux Falls 3, St. Paul 0 — Box Score The Sioux Falls Canaries (3-2) pitching staff combined to hold the St. Paul Saints (2-3) to just three hits on the day as they earned a 3-0 win. Starting pitcher Ty Culbreth picked up the win for pitching six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out two batters. Relievers Michael Gunn, Nicco Blank and Keaton Steele (who earned the save) each pitched one perfect inning to close out the game. Offensively, 2B Ryan Long (2-for-4) hit a lead-off home run in the top of the second inning to put the Canaries in front. In the fifth, 1B Alay Lago hit into a fielder’s chase that allowed SS Andrew Ely to score and DH Jabari Henry scored in the next at-bat as 3B Damek Tomscha (2-for-5) reached on an error.
