St. Paul 9, Kansas City 7 – Box Score With two outs in the bottom of the ninth, 2B Josh Allen stepped to the plate and delivered a walk-off grand slam to give the St. Paul Saints (36-20) a 9-7 win against the Kansas City T-Bones. The Saints entered the final frame trailing 7-5 but quickly went to work to load up the bases. LF Troy Alexander drew a lead-off walk and CF Dan Motl (2-for-3, 4 runs) singled to put the tying run on base. After SS Chris Baker struck out, DH Brady Shoemaker drew a walk to load up the bases. 1B John Silviano also struck out, bring Allen (2-for-5) to the plate with no room for error.
