The Roswell Invaders swept the Las Vegas Train Robbers in a 2-out-of-3 series for the 2013 Pecos League championship.   Here are the recaps:


The Invaders now have won two of the first 3 Pecos League championships.  They will be added shortly to the list of all-time independent baseball league championships here:

  1. Yeah, this outcome was pretty much stacked from the start, starting with the highly imbalanced schedule the commissioner himself devised. no conflict of interest there, right? I mean he owns half the league I believe.

    The saddest part of this win is that the Invaders did not seem to wear the highly touted ALL lime green uniforms, that are supposed to be the most outrageous in all of baseball. While debatable, they were outstanding! But they had to be costly to make, and probably this year’s budget could not handle it. At least they were able to stay and play in town all season!

    However, this league NEVER posted any attendance figures…not even casually stating it in the story writeups. I’d like to see those figures.
