The Loudoun Hounds, a proposed new team scheduled for the Atlantic League for the 2013 season, announced that the likelihood of the team’s new stadium being ready for 2013 is dwindling due to delays in the road construction system.  If this delay continues one can assume that the Hounds would not have their new stadium until 2014.  Depending on the Atlantic League’s plans for 2013, in terms of adding any new teams (particularly in the Texas/Southwest region to reduce travel costs with the Sugar Land Skeeters team), then if there would be an odd number of teams for the 2013 season; or the Atlantic League could remain with its current 8-team structure.
