Kalamazoo Kings Owner Files Suit Against The Frontier League

The parent company of the former Frontier League team, the Kalamazoo Kings, filed suit against the Frontier League regarding supposed interference between the Kings and a prospective owner for the team.  The team had “gone dark” before the 2011 season, and this freed up the space for the Rockford Riverhawks to replace the Kings on the 2011 Frontier League schedule instead of a travel team being brought into the Frontier League to balance out the schedule.
