In a spoof of the “Balloon Boy” story out of Colorado, the Joliet Jackhammers decided to let people know about their “missing” mascot. In 2009, Joliet has offered Rod Blogojevich a spring training contract, invited Rush Limbaugh to be a part of the ownership group, and now spoofed the Balloon Boy story. At least they are trying to give independent baseball more awareness on the national level.
