Discussion About Brownsville Texas as Possible NAL Team

There are four North American League (NAL) teams which play in Texas:  the San Angelo Colts, Edinburg Roadrunners, the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings, and the McAllen Thunder (travel team).  While looking for a home for the fourth team part-owner of the current Texas-based NAL teams (and former United League executive) John Bryant was quoted in a recent article about bringing independent professional baseball to Brownsville:

The issues are that Brownsville does not have an adequate stadium, and fan support might be minimal according to a current member of the TSC board of trustees.  His quotes are in the last few paragraphs of the article.
