City Of St. Paul Doesn’t See Savings Due To Stadium Bidding Process

The St. Paul city officials’ representative in the bidding process for the new stadium doesn’t believe that a reported half-million dollar savings truly represents any kind of economic benefit for the city.  This adds to the concern in St. Paul that an original non-competitive bidding process, granted to the group who ended up with the winning bid anyway, had to be opened up in order to save money for the city.
