According to a local report, the city of El Paso is going to pay the El Paso Diablos money plus reimburse the team’s ownership for stadium improvements and other expenses.  The team’s lease with the city will end in October this year.

Whether the Diablos organization will continue to exist in the American Association – but play in a nearby market, move to another city and still play in the AA, move to another league, or cease operations is still to be determined.  As soon as the official situation is confirmed it will be posted on this site.
