Independent Baseball Not Going To Omaha?

It appears that a local judge has thrown out a case brought by an investor group who wanted to bring independent baseball to TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska:

The team was scheduled to be in the North American League in 2012 and named the Omaha Flame.  Omaha has been discussed as a possible location for other independent leagues; and once more news about the location becomes confirmed then it will be posted.

  1. More Bad News for th NABL. With the Lake County situation and Tucson (probably off the board next year) and now no Omaha probably, Maui really struggling. I wonder if the NABL is going to be around next year.
