Possible Independent Minor League Baseball Home Run King

It is possible that Jesse Hoorelbeke of the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks has become the independent baseball all-time home run leader:

We are still waiting on confirmation from independent, third-party sources to determine if this is the case.  By “home run leader” IndependentBaseball.net will stand behind the definition of independent baseball as being since the 1993 inception of the Northern League and Frontier League; and we will not include home runs hit by players who may have played on an independent team or an old “co-op” team which would have played in an affiliated league in the past.

Once confirmed, it will be mentioned on this site.
