Having been in uniform on various independent baseball teams, it is always fun to see a teammate whom you know get recognized when he has truly excelled for a given series or two. Usually this culminates in a Player of the Week or Pitcher of the Week award.
The efforts of these players often get forgotten, so here are the links for the 2010 independent baseball league’s players of the week (if available):
- American Association: http://www.americanassociationbaseball.com/league-potw.php
- Atlantic League: http://atlanticleague.com/info-potm.php
- Can-Am League: http://www.canamleague.com/potw.php
- Continental League (now folded): none provided
- Frontier League: none provided
- Golden League: none provided
- Northern League: http://northernleague.com/internal.php?code=6
- United League: none provided
If you know of a reputable link for the leagues which had Player/Pitcher of the Week honors, but do not have a link on the league website, then be sure to leave it as a comment on this post. Thank you.
