OTTERS SNAP FIVE GAME LOSING STREAK

Evansville, Ind.- (June 28, 2016) The Evansville Otters took on the Windy City ThunderBolts on Tuesday night to start their three game series. The Otters are coming off a five game losing streak and wanted to get back to the winning ways. The Otters started Tyler Vail on the mound and pitched a complete game. Vail would only allow four hits on the night and allow two runs off a two run homer. Vail then would go on to strikeout 11 batters on the night and would receive the win on the night. Vail is now 2-1 on the season with a 3.02 ERA. For the ThunderBolts Jake Fisher started on the mound. Fisher pitched for six and a half innings allowing eight hits on the night and four runs. Fisher would also have nine strikeouts on the night. The loss moves Fisher to 4-2 on the season with a 3.13 ERA. In the first inning the Otters defense came out strong and had three straight outs to bring on the offense.
