SAUGET, Ill. – Gateway’s Vince Molesky and Washington’s Kenny Peoples-Walls have been named Week 15 Frontier League Pitcher and Player of the Week as chosen by Pointstreak, the official statistical provider of the Frontier League and the Independent Professional Baseball Federation. Gateway Grizzlie Vince Molesky, earns his second Pitcher of the Week honors of the season after hurling his first complete game shutout of 2017 (3rd of this career) last Friday night against the Normal CornBelters. The 6’3 righty struck out nine CornBelters including 2017 All-Stars Aaron Dudley and Santiago Chirino. Molesky also struck out Week 13 Player of the Week, Jesus Solorzano, twice. Vince allowed just five hits in his thirty two batters faced. Molesky walked none and earned his sixth win of the season as the Grizzlies beat the CornBelters 6-0. The Mountoursville, Pennsylvania native has appeared in eighteen games on the season on sixteen starts. He has registered ninety-six strikeouts (3rd overall) on the year and has dropped his ERA to 3.89 (16th overall). Molesky has been with the Grizzlies since 2015 and has a career record of 16-21 in fifty-two starts. His career ERA currently sits at 4.23. Molesky is just the third Frontier League athlete…
