Back by popular demand, the Cleveland Sport’s Legend’s Softball Game will be held on Saturday, June 23rdat Sprenger Stadium!  There are already two legends that will be in attendance: Kevin Mack and Austin Carr. The former Cleveland Browns running back, Kevin Mack, played nine seasons for the team from 1985 to 1993. Mack and his teammate, Earnest Byner, were the third pair of teammates to run over 1,000 yards for the same team in the same season. He made the Pro Bowl twice during his career. Austin Carr, or as most people know him, Mr. Cavalier, will be trading in the sneaks for cleats. Carr attended Notre Dame University where he was a member of the team when they ended the UCLA Bruins winning streak. He later went on to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, and the Washington Bullets. He now acts as the Director of Community Relations for the Cavs, as well as a color commentator for the team on Fox Sports Ohio broadcast. Carr is a Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame Inductee (Class of 1992). Do not worry though, there are plenty more to come!
