With the Champions down 8-5 entering the final frame, it looked as if the ball club was down and out. However, the Champions surmounted an incredible comeback, scoring seven runs in the final inning to beat the Jackals 12-8. 2B Steve Nyisztor knocked three runs in with a double to tie the game in the ninth. Later in the inning with the bases loaded again, CF Tyson Gillies (pictured) blasted a grand slam that launched the Champions to their second straight win.Elsewhere, the Capitales defeated the Miners 10-1 and the Aigles defeated the Boulders 4-1.
