CAPITALES' STADE CANAC NAMED PLAYING SURFACE OF THE YEAR

Almost a year after construction of new artificial infield turf began at Stade Canac, the home stadium of the Quebec Capitales has been recognized as the 2017 Can-Am League Playing Surface of the Year. The award was voted upon by Can-Am League field managers and media representatives. After the 2016 season, work began at the stadium on the installation of a new artificial surface. The construction project, valued at $3.3 million, was completed June 1, 2017.
