JUNE 6 EVENING RECAP Photo Courtesy: Quebec Capitales Quebec 7, Ottawa 5 (Game 1 – 7 Innings) – Box Score Quebec tallied three runs in the top of the sixth inning to break a 4-4 tie and defeat Ottawa, 7-5 in game one of a doubleheader. The Capitales were led offensively by the 8-9-1 hitters of 3B Josh Vitters, DH Edgar Lebron and RF Stephen Gaylor (pictured). The trio combined to go 7-for-10 at the plate with three runs scored and five RBI. Vitters also chipped in a home run, his first of the season. Starting pitcher Ryan Searle threw 5 1/3 innings and notched the victory for Quebec. Searle gave up four earned runs on seven hits with a pair of walks and four strikeouts. The 28-year-old is now 3-1 on the season. For Ottawa, RF Sebastien Boucher went 3-for-4 at the plate with a run scored and an RBI.   Ottawa 4, Quebec 1 (Game 2 – 7 Innings) – Box Score Ottawa gained a split in the twinbill as the Champions scored three runs in the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie and beat Quebec by a 4-1 score.
