Winnipeg 13, Texas 0 – Box Score The Winnipeg Goldeyes blanked the Texas AirHogs 13-0 thanks to a complete game shutout from starting pitcher Tyler Herron. Herron allowed just seven hits in the game and struck out five batters. Herron needed just 112 pitches to finish off the game, 78 of which went for strikes. No AirHogs batter had more than one hit against Herron. The Goldeyes backed him up with more than enough run support, tallying 16 hits, one each from nine different batters. CF Reggie Abercrombie (2-for-5, 5 RBIs) and 2B Tucker Nathans each hit home runs on the night for the Goldeyes. RF Josh Romanski, LF Jordan Ebert and C Tyler Baker also had solid performances at the plate as they each had three hits. Kansas City 6, Lincoln 3 – Box Score One big inning for the Kansas City T-Bones proved to be enough as they topped the Lincoln Saltdogs 6-3.
