Winnipeg 5, Laredo 4 – Box A three run seventh inning powered the Winnipeg Goldeyes to a 5-4 victory over the Laredo Lemurs. LF Adam Heisler (pictured) went 3-for-5 with a run scored and SS Maikol Gonzalez launched his first home run of the year as the Goldeyes outhit the Lemurs 8-7. Starter Mikey O’Brien earned his second win of the year throwing 7.1 innings, allowing four earned runs on seven hits and reliever Jalien Peguero recorded the save. For Laredo, RF Reggie Wilson and SS J.D. Pulfer each had two hits to back starter Ryan Beckman who allowed one earned run and four hits over six innings of work.    Lincoln 5, Kansas City 1 – Box  The Lincoln Saltdogs defeated the Kansas City T-Bones 5-1 to move into first place in the Central Division. Lincoln outhit Kansas City 10-4 in the game, as starter Shairon Martis earned the win on the mound for his excellent performance striking out nine hitters over seven inning while just allowing one earned run on three hits.
