Kevin Millar is going to return to play for the St. Paul Saints (American Association), and the New York Times did an article on him recently:
Hopefully Kevin’s experience between independent baseball in 1993 and 2010 will be recorded and made available to all independent baseball fans. The Saints were, in 1993, part of the Northern League; and the NL was one of two independent baseball leagues, with the other being the Frontier League.
Should you wish to learn more about previous independent baseball teams, including those which no longer exist, then you are welcome to visit:
Much has changed in independent baseball since then, so hopefully Kevin’s insights will be helpful for future independent baseball fans and players. Leave your comments below with the type of questions you would like to see asked of Kevin as he ends his professional playing career with the team that helped him begin it.
